Who We Are

This site was developed in response to David Korten’s new book The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community. The intention is to provide encouragement and resources for individuals and communities engaged in the work of the Great Turning.

Currently, the site is being developed by one staff person from the People-Centered Development Forum. In time, we hope that the site will be managed by a host of volunteers committed to the work of the Great Turning.

We will also be working closely with YES! Magazine as their site has a wealth of resources we will be linking to, including their own Great Turning section.

As noted in many places on the site, your contributions are the key to making www.greatturning.org the kind of resource we hope it can be. In the future, we may decide to migrate some or all of the site to drupal to make it easier to contribute. Until then, please use the contact forms provided where ever you see Contribute. We look forward to hearing from you.
