Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft is open for astronauts

Boeing’s first Starliner capsule to the Worldwide House Station is formally open for astronauts residing on board  the orbiting lab.

The business Starliner spacecraft, which arrived Friday on an uncrewed take a look at flight to the station, was opened by NASA astronaut Robert Hines at 12:04 p.m. EDT (1604 GMT) to start about 5 days of checks on the capsule. It is a main milestone for Boeing and NASA’s Business Crew Program, which picked Boeing and SpaceX to fly astronauts to the Worldwide House Station in 2014.
